Attention, fans of Brangelina, and more importantly, of Château Miraval rosé

    February 6, 2014
After the first vintage of Brangelina’s rosé wine, the first ever to make the list of Wine Spectator’s Top 100 sold out last year in an all-time record number of hours, comes news of the second vintage coming up soon. Lovers of this Provence rosé with its impeccable lineage might want to line up to grab the first bottles as they go on sale, very soon, before they sell out. Read on….

Correns, February 6th 2014— Only Rosé wine among the Wine Spectator’s TOP 100 published last November, Miraval announced today the release of the 2013 vintage. From Friday, February 7th, 2014, at 9 am (Paris time), a limited quantity of Miraval Rosé will be on sale on the websites http://www.miraval-provence.com/ in France and http://www.bbr.com/ in England.

Comments from Decanter Magazine:”This second vintage with the Perrin Family is confident from the off – no need to hawk for customers with an overly seductive blush, this is all about pale, barely-there pinks, charmingly pretty in colour. Lovely floral nose, soft fragrant roses, and from the first taste there is a delicate structure that deepens through the palate. The fruit is on the fresh summer red spectrum – redcurrants, rosehips, a dash of lime zest and wild raspberries rather than the sweet cherries of some rosés, with a savoury herbal edge. But, as the French would say *’il y a du vin’* – meaning that there is a sense of power alongside the elegance, a structure and a fresh acidity that gives the wine persistency, with a grip of minerality that gives a delicious mouthwatering finish. Already in 2012 there was a feeling of restraint and pared down elegance that hadn’t been apparent before. The 2013 takes that even further and for me is a truly successful wine. 91 points. Highly recommended.”

Just in time for Valentine’s Day!
After the success of the exclusive online sales last year, Miraval has decided to continue this exclusive launch this year and offer the opportunity to buy online the first bottles of 2013 Miraval Rosé to the people located in France and in England. Fifteen days before the wine is officially on sale, a few lucky ones will be able to buy a case of 6 bottles of the new vintage of Miraval Rosé. This exclusive offer is limited to one case of 6 bottles per person. The first buyers will be able to celebrate Valentine’s Day with this new vintage.
