Good for you? Or not? The red wine debate continues…

    June 11, 2014

red-wine-300x200The number of times the benefits of red wine have been debated, discussed and dissected, would surely make for an encyclopedia of its own. Discussions on the svelte French, the benefits of the Mediterranean diet continue.

The latest, says Wine Spectator, are two contrary studies that were out recently. One, by Johns Hopkins which says the resveratrol and longevity are not necessarily connected, as earlier thought. the other, done by PREDIMED says it certainly is. Want to check out both sides of the argument and decide for yourself? Check out the WS article here.

PS: One finding that won’t thrill you: red wine is indeed a headache trigger.
